May already!

Yikes! It's been awhile... sorry! Be glad though. I was pretty much just binge eating and falling apart for awhile. But I'm starting to put myself back together again.

Let's focus on yesterday!

Yesterday was May 1st. I spoke to Seetha for a good while on the phone. She drove it home that I have to do yoga three times a week, I have to stay away from starch, and I ABSOLUTELY have to stay away from nuts... even during a binge. Yikes! I know she's right though. Not right for life, but if I want to make the kind of progress I want to make before my wedding, that's how it has to be. Seetha also convinced me not to pick up my wedding dress (which I was supposed to do yesterday). Instead I'll get it in two weeks when, as long as I follow her "prescription," I'll be feeling much better about myself.

Nicole and I also started a challenge together yesterday - we are setting weekly goals and helping each other stay accountable. My favorite part about our challenge (Nicole really put the whole thing together) is that we are only allowed to focus on positive things. Things we will do, rather than things we can't do. My goals this week are: 1) take my vitamins every morning, 2) do yoga one time, and 3) plan and pack healthy snacks to take to NYC. Now I know... I said I'd do yoga once... but in the paragraph before Seetha says three times a week is mandatory.... I figure once is better than none, and with a trip out of town coming up, I think it's realistic. If I'm able to do it more, that's a bonus. So all that to say, our challenge has begun!

After work I had a phone date with Rebecca (miss her so much) and then went to Anna's for some quality girl time.

Ending my phone date with Rebecca while "walking" Otis

Ok, truth be told, Otis didn't really walk anywhere, but it was fun to pretend. Anna and I had an awesome night full of T25, salads, and FroYo. We had to do a million push ups, and today my shoulders are sooooore.

And that brings us to today. I'm about to leave Job #1 and go to a special Jungshin class - I'll take pictures and report on that for sure. Bipul is coming into town this weekend (yaaay!) so we will definitely be spending time with him. And Andy and I will be getting ready for our trip to NYC! The orchestra is playing at Carnegie Hall and I get to go too!

I must add that we still do not have internet, so the odds of me updating over the weekend are slim. This lack of internet at home is really hurting my blog productivity. Sorry guys!
