Day 15

Hooray for another rest day! Today was interesting - I had to do work things in the morning and again late at night, which meant I was able to take off the afternoon. Originally I thought I'd workout and then take it from there, but then.... I realized.... I could actually go and lay out by the pool! It was amazing. I read my book, I went swimming, I dozed off, I got nice and burned (I know it's bad, but I don't mind!). In fact I was enjoying myself so much that I almost made today a true rest day - but then I worried I might regret not doing something, and I did have a little time, so.... I went home to my exercise DVD collection and busted out an oldie - Yoga Booty Ballet. 40 minutes later I was dripping sweat (although a large part of that is probably due to the temperature of the apartment). And I was right - I was totally glad I made the decision to do something. I must continue to remind myself that I never regret a workout after the fact.

  1. So true...I read a quote somewhere a while ago that basically said, "You will never regret a workout. But you will always regret skipping it." Good job Barbie!
