Day 5

Running rest day 2! It feels silly to be on day 5 and only have run twice so far, but that's what the program calls for. I'm excited for my first "long run" tomorrow. I put it in quotes because it is only 5 miles. Actually, maybe I should give it a little more credit because it will be 5 miles in blistering heat. I think we're having another 90 degree day tomorrow... Don't worry Nicole - I will get a bracelet to wear for your wedding that will cover up the Garmin tan line I am bound to have by September.

Zumba last night was fun (as always) but even better since Alyssa came. :) THANK YOU ALYS! I promise to stop bugging you now. ;) Since today was rest day 2, I decided to make today zumba day 2 as well. Nothing like having sweaty hair at work!

The reviews are in on the powdered peanut butter - Alyssa: Disgusting. Sarah: "Interesting" w/a funny aftertaste. I really don't think it's that bad, but it is certainly not the real stuff. Oh well, it was worth a try.

And lastly - things on the heel-front are still improving. I wore my homemade Strassburg sock to bed again. Not perfect, but it does seem to help.
