I'm on day three of no Diet Coke, no fake sugar, no sugar free or diet foods, and no dairy after 4pm. On the whole I feel fine... not really different honestly, although slightly cranky when I remember I can't have a Diet Coke. Oh how I miss you Diet Coke...
In an attempt to make drinking things that aren't Diet Coke more fun, I got myself one of these...
Lemon Water
This handy dandy drink holder has a space in the middle to put things...lemons, cucumbers, mint, etc... which flavors your water naturally. The lemon water is actually quite refreshing! (But it is still not Diet Coke)
So what else has been going on...
Yesterday started with a training session with Vinny, Sarah, and Anna. I was still sore from all of my yoga activities so it seemed hard! I'll just go ahead and say it again - I love starting my week off with training. :-)
Then it was time for Job #1 - my tasks were fine, but the surrounding personalities were a challenge... guess the office had a case of the Monday's or something. When I drove home from work, I was greeted by our new neighbor.
There are no words
I love the lei he is wearing...makes him much more festive looking (he was still there this morning too).
Last night I was on my own for dinner, and decided to try my hand at the grill. I grilled up a Seetha-approved meal and was pretty proud of myself.
Curry Chicken and Veggies
Obviously I didn't eat all of that chicken... that would NOT be Seetha approved.
This morning I woke up thanks to a thunderstorm and decided to start my day off with some yoga, which I did in our sun porch with the door propped open so I could see the storm (I'm turning into such a hippy). I found two 9 minute videos on youtube that focused on stretching for beginners. Not the most amazing yoga practice, but fit the bill considering I woke up sore from training.
And now I'm at Job #1... in a bit I'll be at Job #2. Typical Tuesday, except that it's 90 something degrees outside, which is not so typical for this time of year.
Hope you're all having a good day!
