1) My mom bought her plane ticket to come here so we can get my wedding dress and also meet with vendors.
2) So that I'm not starting completely from scratch when my mom gets here, I've made 2 appointments to go preliminary dress shopping... those are only a week and one day away!!
3) While my mom is here, we will go visit Wagner Winery so she can see where everything will happen. Turns out the restaurant where our reception will be is closed during the winter, but after one quick email, I've got them to agree to still show my mom around when she is here... and that email also mentioned setting up our tasting in the near future!!!!
4) After looking over the suggested vendors, I found a florist who's webpage I found impressive - they are also able to meet for a consultation while she's here!
5) And last but not least, if there are no worthy dresses here in town, I did check about getting an appointment at Kleinfeld, haha.

But that's not all folks! Because those are only plans for MY wedding. Sheena's wedding is right around the corner and I'm getting excited about that one too!!!
1) I bought my plane ticket to Chicago!
| Think we're excited?? Naahhh |
2) I was invited to share an airbnb with a guy I have known since third grade and his wife (should be fun... and thankfully cheaper than a hotel, especially split three ways). ALSO I realized yesterday that the place is only one mile away from a Midtown Athletic Club. Score!
3) I tried my bridesmaid dress on and, thanks to Seetha's plan, it fits much better than when I bought it (it was too tight back then).
* Side note: Seetha's plan is going strong. I have had zero starch (except for beans that were approved this week) since September 1st (20 days!!!). I also have not had a single sip of a Diet Coke since September 8th - same date I gave up fake sugar, which I'm still following too. I DO still miss Diet Coke, but I'm at least not quite as angry about it. I still miss it though. I really do. Haha ok I'll stop.
4) Sheena sent out the bridesmaid itinerary so I'm looking forward to nails, hair, lunches, rehearsals, partying... it's all becoming very real!
5) I still need to get shoes, jewelry, and a cardigan, so I'm excited to shop for those asap too!
Is that enough for you?? Because if it's not, just come over at night... I'll most likely be staying up too late watching Four Weddings - at least that's what I did last night. :-)
So besides all of this wedding excitement, what else has been going on??
Wednesday night I went to meditation with Anna. It was alright - shorter than normal. Since it was short, we stopped after class to get frozen yogurt at Yotality. Before we got anything, we made sure to talk to the employees to learn which flavors were made with fake sugar and which were made with real sugar. Thankfully we had lots of Seetha-approved choices.

Thursday I worked both jobs (picked up an extra shift)... not much time for anything else.
Today is Friday - This morning I did a little yoga and listened to one of my guided meditation tracks. The lady said to think of your mind as a vast clear blue sky... the sky does not judge a storm cloud.... the sky does not cling to a rainbow... Andy could hear it in the kitchen, he thought that part was super cheesy, but I liked it! At least he waited until after I was done listening to it to make fun of it. ;-)
Now I'm at Job #1, and have surprisingly already accomplished all of my "to dos" for the day. Tonight Andy, Will, and I are going to check out the Fringe Festival that just got started in town yesterday. Tomorrow... working Job #2.... at some point cleaning the bathroom... hopefully going for a run... Who knows! This is the last semi-calm weekend Andy and I will have for quite awhile, so I'm hoping for a dose of fun AND relaxation.
